Boil Water Order Lifted for American Water (Prairie Path Water Company – Whispering Hills) Customers

Illinois American Water, which recently acquired Prairie Path Water Company, has notified customers that the boil water order for Prairie Path Water Company – Whispering Hills has been lifted.

The boil water order was originally issued on Monday, June 8, 2026, due to emergency repairs that may have caused low water pressure or a temporary water service interruption. Customers may now resume normal water use and no longer need to boil water before consumption.
