eBlast - March 24, 2025 Pistakee Yacht Club Litigation
Pistakee Yacht Club Litigation
The Village was very disturbed to see a recent Facebook post by the Pistakee Yacht Club grossly overstating the amount of attorney’s fees the Village has spent defending itself against the lawsuit it pursued against the Village. The Village’s legal expenses to date are less than $2,000 and the documents turned over to the Yacht Club support that information. We cannot say why the Club would so flagrantly distort that information which can be so easily disproved. It’s very disheartening that despite the repeated attempts the Village has made to amicably resolve this matter, the Yacht Club insists on litigation and spreading false information.
