COVID-19 - Wastewater Treatment System Impacts
As toilet paper supplies on store shelves run scarce, many have turned to using other alternatives. The Village has been experiencing an increase in non-flushable materials impacting its wastewater treatment system. Homeowners on septic systems also need to be mindful of what they are flushing into their septic system. Please do not flush rags, wipes, paper towels and other non-flushable materials down the toilet. Now more than ever it is important to keep our sanitary systems functioning properly.
