e-Blast - September 27, 2024
Fall Brush Pick-Up
The Village's Fall Brush Pick-Up will begin Monday, September 30, 2024 at 7:00 a.m. All brush must be placed by the road no later than 7:00a.m. on said Monday (09/30/2024) by 7:00 a.m. and no earlier than Saturday September 21, 2024. Crews will make one pass through each subdivision; therefore, any branches that are not placed by the road when they go by will not be picked up at a later time. All branches must be a minimum of six (6) feet in length (longer limbs travel safely through chipper) and no greater than 6 inches in diameter. They must be placed with their cut ends pointed towards the road in a neat, orderly and manageable pile. Please stack brush into multiple manageable piles (example); avoid making one massive unmanageable large pile. Branches that cannot be put through the chipper safely will not be taken. Evergreen cuttings must be kept separate from other tree branches and will be picked up separately. This service is being provided for larger branches generated from trimming, pruning or storm damage and is not intended for disposal of whole trees or limbs/branches from tree removal that have been removed. Each resident collection is allotted twenty (20) minutes max, please aid in the collection process. Please follow the guidelines or contact Village Hall (815) 385-6023 with any questions.
