e-Blast - Riverside Dr OPEN for Traffic (Northbound & Southbound)
RIVERSIDE DRIVE (Running Brook Farm Blvd thru Johnsburg Rd) OPEN for VEHICLE TRAFFIC
Phase (1) of the Riverside Drive Road Improvement Project is substantially complete. Minor punch list items to address in approaching days (off roadway, minor delay inconveniences); however, the Road traffic Northbound and Southbound is OPEN. The improvements included the complete replacement of the box culverts at the Dutch Creek bridge, the resurfacing of Riverside Drive (between Running Brook Farms subdivision and Johnsburg Road), and the grading and preparation for a multi-use path along the roadway. Detour routes signage will be removed in the next few days. The project was expected to be substantially completed by the Fall 2024 (weather permitting), but ROAD is OPEN for Traffic. Further information will be provided as the project progresses on finishing details. If you have any questions, please call the Village Hall at (815) 385-6023.
