Garbage Service Note
Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, garbage pick up will be delayed one day. Garbage pick up this week will be on Saturday, November 24th.
Holiday Magic & Parade
The Village of Johnsburg and the Community Affairs Committee invite you to attend a brand new event this year to kick off the holiday season. Decorated vehicles, floats, or registered golf carts/utility vehicles with lights and a holiday theme and parade with your friends, family and neighbors to the Community Club for the Holiday Magic festivities on Saturday, December 1st.
Christmas Tree Sale
O Christmas Tree...O Christmas Tree....! The Johnsburg Lions Club has 7' Frasier Fir Christmas trees for sale at a cost of $50. QUANTITIES ARE LIMITED! To reserve a tree please call the Village Hall @ 815-385-6023 no later than Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 12:00p.m. The trees will be distributed at Holiday Magic, payment is due at the time of pickup.
Johnsburg High School 14th Annual Madrigal Dinner
Presented by the Johnsburg High School Music Department Saturday, December 1st (1:00p.m. & 5:30p.m.) and Sunday, December 2nd (1:00p.m.). Click here for further information.
Johnsburg Public Library District
Upcoming fun Holiday events from your local Johnsburg Public Library District: Murder at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party, Friday, December 7th, 7:00p.m. (for adults 21 and older-includes dinner, drinks, and prizes.). Nocturnal Animals, Wednesday, December 12th, 4:00p.m. (Presented by the McHenry County Conservation District. For kids ages 3-5 with an adult.). Make a Gingerbread Friend, Wednesday, December 19, 5:00p.m. (Hand stuff a plush gingerbread toy, then enjoy a cozy story time. Ages 5 and up with an adult.). Johnsburg Outdoor Ice Rink
Come one, Come all...The Village of Johnsburg will have the Ice Rink up and running starting 1st week of Christmas break (approximately December 21st, 2018) weather permitting. The Village is accepting donations of new and used ice skates or hockey gear, Click here for more information.

Girls on the Run inspire girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Click here for more information and registration details, registration begins January 9th, 2019.
