BUILDING, FACILITIES AND GROUNDS MAINTENANCE POSITION

The Village of Johnsburg is currently hiring for a position to maintain its buildings, facilities and parks. Qualified applicants must be trained and have 7-10 years of experience working with single and three-phase electrical service and distribution systems and performing building maintenance and improvements; possess a high school diploma; and hold a valid driver’s license. A Commercial Driver’s License is required within 18 months. ICC (International Code Council) certification (IRC (International Residential Codes) will be required within 2 years of employment. A list of the requirements and classes can be provided. Eligible candidates must be proficient in carpentry and be able to perform maintenance, inspections, repairs and improvements to Village buildings, facilities and parks. The position is a full time position that reports directly to the Village Administrator. At times, the duties may require work after hours and on weekends as directed.
